So, yeah, in case the subject didn't give it away, I'm an aunt now. My sister had a healthy baby boy the other day. He's my first nephew, and I have no nieces, so I'm excited.

I put a picture of him in my gallery, even though I didn't take it, so go check it out!

Unfortunately, I'm away at school. While I'm not that far away, it's far enough that I can't go home right away and see them. That and my lack of a car kind of restricts the whole transportation issue.

Okay, so yesterday I got home after a long day at Six Flags with my friends. I had been sleeping on the way home, so I was pretty much dead to the world when I walked through the door. The first thing I saw was my little sister with a ginormous bag of puppy chow saying "Hey, look! I got a big treat!"
The second thing I saw was my dad in the living room with something black and furry in his lap.
So I came to the logical conclusion: we had gotten a puppy.
I can't believe they'd go pick out a puppy on the day I wasn't there! XP
No, apparently it was a spur of the moment thing. They hadn't planned on getting a puppy; they were just visiting at the SPCA. But Dad's been wanting another dog for a while, and we'd previously talked about finding one. And of course, it would be a black lab, no doubt about it.
Our puppy is a female black lab/chow mix, but she mostly just looks black lab. We haven't decided on a name for her, but Molly, Sable, Cadence, and Wendy seem to be the predominant choices. I missed out on training our last dog because I was just a baby then, so this whole training thing is a bit new to me. I just do what Dad tells me to, because he trained our last dog pretty well. So yes, that is my big news.

Well, I've been tagged by my good friend and now apparently I have to (if I want to) write six things about myself and tag six more people. I'm fairly new around here and don't really have anyone to tag, but don't let that fool you! I can wait very patiently for an unsuspecting victim. So I will tag people... someday...
Anyway, here's some things about me. I'll try to pick things Ri doesn't necessarily know, so it will be a little hard...

I collect produce stickers. Like, stickers from fruit and tomatoes and stuff.

I have mild dyslexia that sometimes gets the detter of me.

I have more windows on the outside of my house than on the inside.

I've always wished I were left handed, and have lately been training myself to write left handed.

One of my dreams is to someday have a motorcycle (and motorcycle lisence, of course.)

My parents both worked as clowns at one point in time, and I was a clown once, too.
